I’ve made this twice so far and it’s absolutely great and so easy to make. I shared my first batch and now my neighbours keep asking when I’ll be making more. It’s delicious!

This was an excellent introduction to Dal for my wife who was quite unsure if she would like it but ended up loving it. Great recipe. I did add a pinch of extra salt, cumin, and turmeric just to up the flavor a tad.

I think i overcooked dal. As i don’t have pressurecooker i had to make some changes. But it did tasted good

First time cooking with any “dal” and impressed with this recipe. Followed closely with a bit more garlic/ginger. Perfectly cooked and enjoyed it over steamed cauli and a bit of greek yogurt on top to counter the spiciness. Thanks for posting.

Added a diced cooked potato at the end. Very good
