Creamed Broccoli and Mushroom Soup

This recipe was developed by my brother-in-law. Kids adore them! These deep-fried family favorites include a hearty stuffing of beef and potatoes. Put your preferred Asian-inspired sauces on them to dip!

Ingredients

  1. 3 cups water
  2. 2 cups chopped broccoli
  3. 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  4. 2 tablespoons butter
  5. 1 cup nonfat dry milk powder
  6. 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed Cheddar cheese soup
  7. 2 dashes hot sauce
  8. ⅛ teaspoon ground black pepper
  9. 1 dash garlic powder

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, mix the water, broccoli, mushrooms, and butter. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, and simmer 5 minutes, until broccoli is tender. Mix in milk powder, soup, hot sauce, pepper, and garlic powder. Continue cooking, stirring frequently, until heated through.

This probably does not have any reviews because there are not enough “real” food items here. Try this with canned milk and a bag of grated cheese; people might be more tempted.
