It is great–just made it. I used 1 chicken boullion cub & added 2 slices of Velveeta cheese.
Love this soup it’s phenomenal!!!
My daughters favourite soup! I add 1 tsp organic chicken bullion to the water when simmering the vegetables and occasionally I add 1 cup of broccoli.
My Favourite soup recipe! I make this at least twice a month! Do you think this can be made in a crock pot?
I used broth instead of water. I also used about a half cup more cauliflower and I ended up needing more broth to get it to a better consistency. I also added chopped spinach and mushrooms, and added a little Greek seasoning and a dash of cajun seasoning as well as a half clove of fresh garlic, crushed. I used a high quality sharp cheddar and another 1/4 cup at least freshly grated parmesan. This soup is delicious!
I cut the recipe in half and it was a bit flat, so I added a little more cheese and it was perfect!
This soup was very disappointing. It did not have much flavor. I used chicken broth instead of water and added lots of salt but it’s still lacking something. Not my favorite and I make lots of different homemade soup.
To me this tasted just like cauliflower cheese and not a soup, it was really floury. I would add more cauliflower and less roux next time. With the left overs I’m gonna use it as a pie filling because it seems more suitable for that
This is a good base to use. I added some finely chopped mini-peppers, red, yellow, orange to give
i made it to the recipe except for the cheese, but times everything by 4 and added Velvetta cheese instead of shredded. Everyone loved it. I might make a chicken broth instead of water for the vegetables next time.
Use vegetable broth instead of water. Celery is optional.
My toddler loves it! I added more veggies and chucken bouillon. Thank you for sharin!
I followed recipe and I like it very much. I will make it again. Next time I may experiment by adding some other stuff.
excellent! I did add a tag more cheese, cooked the veggies longer and then blended them a bit with a hand blender. Perfect for a winter, snowy day! Thanks for the recipe!
Easy and very tasteful, followed directions, exactly.
Just a little bland for my tastes. I agree that using chicken broth in place of water would add flavor. I think I will make it again with additional spices.
My family loved this soup. Even my son that doesn’t like soup had seconds.
Tasty soup. Good combination of flavours. Will definitely make it again.
Great recipe! Used chicken broth and added more cheese and spinach from our garden. Very yummy!
Mmmmmm.. This may be my new favorite soup. I had hernia surgery a little over two weeks ago. They told me to start doing normal things. What’s more normal than making a big pot of soup? I followed the recipe exactly and it’s perfect. I may have boiled the veggies a little longer because I accidentally didn’t set the timer. I used a potato masher and it worked perfectly for the consistency. I loved the mix of the potato with the cauliflower and other vegetables. It was creamy, delicious a just a little cheesy. Thank you so much! I used half a bag of cauliflower florets so I’ll be ready to make it again;. Update: I made my 2nd batch which included less potatoes and no cheese. (Sadly). Still delicious. One thing I don’t understand when people say something like “it needed chicken broth”, no it doesn’t. You might prefer it but it shouldn’t change your rating. You realize when you use the broth from the veggies, that is a veggie broth of sorts. That was all I used. As a vegetarian, I use veggie broth quite a bit but so try not to use unless absolutely necessary. The water/broth that the veggies cooked in worked out great and included starch. I don’t always want extra preservatives and stuff from vegetable broth.
Made as directed
