Great recipe for the base of cocktails (added vodka) for book club this weekend. Would be good with rum as well. We made a picnic in the park, so the bar was limited to what I could pack in. Used lemons instead of limes and meant to bring lemon slices in the pitcher and mint sprigs for decoration, but ran out of time. Would be a great idea for next time. Will definitely make this again! I took the advice of Nancy P and doubled the simple sugar, but didn’t use it all with the lemons from my tree.

I accidentally picked up lemon juice instead of lime. Doubled the simple sugar and yummy! Light and refreshing. Would be extra nice with some rum. 😉

Waaay too sour This gave me digestive issues after just 3 sips! I even tried adding another full mint simple sugar concoction… still so sour
