Ingredients
- 2/3 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1 tablespoon ground flax seeds
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 medium ripe banana
- 1/2 ripe avocado
- 1 cup ice cubes
- 1 cup frozen strawberries, thawed
- 1 pre-cooked beet, diced
- 1 cup diced frozen mango, thawed
- 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1 cup frozen green grapes
- 1/2 cup kale leaves
- 1/2 cup diced pineapple
- 1 1/2 cups frozen blueberries, thawed
Instructions
- For the banana-avocado smoothie base: Put the almond milk, flax seeds, honey, banana and avocado in a blender. Blend on high until the mixture is mostly smooth, about 1 minute. Add the ice cubes and blend until completely smooth.
- To make it pink, yellow, green or purple: Add the color additions and blend again until completely smooth.
