Ingredients

  1. 2/3 cup unsweetened almond milk
  2. 1 tablespoon ground flax seeds
  3. 1 tablespoon honey
  4. 1 medium ripe banana
  5. 1/2 ripe avocado
  6. 1 cup ice cubes
  7. 1 cup frozen strawberries, thawed
  8. 1 pre-cooked beet, diced
  9. 1 cup diced frozen mango, thawed
  10. 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
  11. 1 cup frozen green grapes
  12. 1/2 cup kale leaves
  13. 1/2 cup diced pineapple
  14. 1 1/2 cups frozen blueberries, thawed

Instructions

  1. For the banana-avocado smoothie base: Put the almond milk, flax seeds, honey, banana and avocado in a blender. Blend on high until the mixture is mostly smooth, about 1 minute. Add the ice cubes and blend until completely smooth.
  2. To make it pink, yellow, green or purple: Add the color additions and blend again until completely smooth.
