This all-in-one milk-and-cookies smoothie makes a nice change of pace for a summer breakfast or afternoon snack. For little kids: Let them help press the buttons on the blender. (Be sure to let it run for a full minute before you add the ice so the oatmeal-and-raisin mixture gets as smooth as possible.) For big kids: Let them measure the ingredients-it’s the perfect time to teach them the difference between wet and dry ingredient measuring cups.

Y’all this is SO GOOD OMG ❤️ I did a couple substitutions: Lactaid Whole Milk for a nondairy milk option, CRAISINS because they’re so much tastier, & dairy free vanilla greek yogurt for a nice consistency. I drank the whole 3 cups, not a single drop left. I’ve never finished a smoothie like this nor do I really eat breakfast but this recipe was exactly what I needed!!! I Definitely recommend & try your own substitutions based on your needs.
This was wonderful!I made it for brunch and the whole family loved it,but it kinda sticks to the tongue.
Wow so good but, a little pastey on the tounge i am a 10 year old girl. But i would say raisens should be a topping. My 8 year old sister loves it! Would recamend as an easy breakfast treat!
You will only get paste if don’t add enough milk! I done this many times and is delicious my grandkids love it!
Yuk. Unless you like oat paste skip this one.
Such a simple yet tasty smoothie! I saw the recipe and made it last weekend on a whim, since it’s one of those rare recipes where I actually already have all the ingredients (and no I don’t have kids! I made it just for me!) It really does taste like an oatmeal cookie. I thought that might be weird as a frozen treat, but it worked! I omitted the raisins as I’m not a fan, so I’m not sure how those would taste blended up. But this recipe is a keeper. I liked it enough that I made it again this weekend and I’m just finishing it up as I’m typing!
