I made the recipe exactly, except for using 1 t salt instead of 2. The dressing wasn’t very exciting. Kind of bland on the spinach. I would suggest maybe some balsamic vinegar instead of apple cider. Or more vinegar and less oil? I didn’t finish my whole serving and my husband said he’d had enough – don’t save the dressing. I served this with ravioli and a sourdough bread.

I’ve made this twice now and it is SO GOOD! My husband said we don’t need to buy dressing anymore! Thank you!

I added a teaspoon of ketchup

This is a great recipe, but be sure to cut back on the salt, you can add more if you need too.

This is wonderful. But…yes cut the salt. I wish I would have read the reviews first.

Agreed about too much salt (1/2-1 tsp max), otherwise this is good. Can add mushrooms, avocado, cooked bacon, hardboiled eggs etc.

Cut the salt in half, loved it!

This was a very nice tangy yet sweet dressing. The only change I made was I had run out of sugar so I substituted honey.

I’m still going to give this 5 stars even though I did not put two teaspoons of salt in it 😮 can’t even imagine with one cup of liquid equivalent…..along with the fact that I never add salt anyway. The other changes I made I don’t feel had any affect on the outcome, olive oil for canola and liquid stevia for the sugar and I cut the garlics into slices. Everything melded quite nicely and had a soft flavor.
