Fixed this recipe for myself and it was delicious! I highly recommend it for the green bean lover.

I changed it up a bit second time around. I melted 2 TBLS butter. Added 1 pound of washed and dry snaps. Added fresh sweet onion slices to taste, and a LOT of lemon pepper seasoning. Cook on a high heat until hot and still crispy (maybe 10 minutes) turning periodically to coat well and then add course kosher salt to taste. Enjoy!

I used butter and a strip of bacon to carmelize some onions before adding the green beans.

Loved this recipe! I fried up some bacon bits in a skillet before I added the beans. Yummy!

Have made many greenbean recipes over many years. Usually good but not great. This is my KEEPER. Everyone loved it and asked if I used a new recipe. My response I always use a new recipe but not any more! Also super easy to make.

I used this general idea to come up with a recipe for myself. They turned out AMAZING and my whole family loved them!! I started with olive oil and added one tablespoon of butter for extra flavor. I then tossed in the green beans that is torn the ends off of, and turned it on medium low (4 on my gas stove). Next I started adding the seasoning. I started with about 4 tablespoons of Everything bagel seasoning. I then added 1-1.5 tablespoons of garlic powder and onion powder. I don’t use garlic or onion SALT, bc I want to be able to use as much of the seasoning as I want without adding a ton of salt. Next I added approximately 2 teaspoons of smoked paprika. Finally I sprinkles about 1.25 tsp of kosher salt across all of it and mixed it well. I let it cook as it was while stirring every minute or so for about 5 mins. Then I added about 2/3 c. water and threw a lid on it and left it alone. I let cook just sitting there, not stirring it, for 5-6 minutes. Next I pulled the lid off off and made sure everything was well coated, stirring everything several times to spread the seasoning on EVERYTHING. All the water was cooked out. I turned off the heat, played it all up, and it was a winner across the board!! Kids and hubby!! I know I basically created my own recipe but I used this to help me create my own so thank to the creator of this!! My version is a bit inner at home and I can’t wait to share it with friends!!

I didn’t have onion salt, so I carmelized about 1/2 an onion and added some bacon. Everything else I added was per the recipe. I cooked it a bit longer than the recipe says and the whole family ate it up.

So my Family calls these Catering Beans cause you seem to get them at catering events like Weddings. I have made these many different ways but the best I have done is. If I have a few slices of bacon, chop it up and omit the Olive Oil and cook in the bacon grease (may need to take some out). As far as seasoning I just use a little pepper. Other thing that makes these awesome is as the beans get to the desired doneness. I add a handful of Cranrasins and slivered almonds. That is what brings it to the Catering beans – Fancy. We keep the almonds and cranrasin in the freezer and pull them out for this when needed. We have this about 2 a month or more. They are very good without the bacon and olive oil so you don’t have to go get bacon special. But I like bacon so if I can find a way to include it I will 🙂

I followed the recipe. It was Delicious

I loved this recipe, but it was a tad too salty for me. When I made it the second time, I cut the amount of onion salt and garlic salt in half. It was perfect.

Best bean recipe I’ve tasted! Yum!!

2 garlics were a little too much. Added butter for the salt

Very good , very easy! Mine did not stick to the pan but I kept on shaking the pan and that just moved the beans around and kept on coating them, we like al dente so they were perfect!

So easy & flavorful

This is my go to green bean recipe now. I used to just steam them whenever I had green beans but this was a nice change of pace. I found the spices added a nice kick and I really liked them in the end. I am definitely going to be using this recipe for a while.

Really tasty! Made it with extra garlic salt since I didn’t have onion salt. A bit too salty for me, but that may have been my fault.

Fabulous! Green beans are finally exciting to eat!
