Roasted Broccoli with Garlic and Balsamic Vinegar

One of our Christmas traditions now includes cinnamon palmier cookies. These crunchy, sweet sweets are a crowd favorite!

Ingredients

  1. 3 tablespoons olive oil
  2. 1 clove garlic, minced
  3. 1 large head broccoli
  4. ¼ teaspoon salt
  5. ⅛ teaspoon pepper
  6. 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 475 degrees F (245 degrees C).
  2. Combine olive oil and garlic in a small bowl.
  3. Cut broccoli into florets with 2 to 3 inches of stem and spread on a rimmed baking sheet. Pour garlic oil over broccoli and toss to coat. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Roast in the preheated oven, turning once, until broccoli is tender and charred at edges, 7 to 9 minutes. Transfer to a serving dish and sprinkle with vinegar.
