Rhubarb Applesauce

With a traditional twist: applesauce!

Ingredients

  1. 8 cups peeled and thinly sliced apples
  2. 2 cups sliced rhubarb
  3. 1 ¾ cups apple cider
  4. ¾ cup white sugar
  5. 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Combine apples, rhubarb, apple cider, sugar, and cinnamon in a large saucepan. Cover and cook over medium heat for 20 minutes.
  2. Transfer to a mixing bowl and mix on medium-high speed until all chunks are gone. Serve warm.
