Ingredients
- 2 ½ cups white sugar
- 1 cup seasoned salt
- ¼ cup paprika
- ¼ cup chili powder
- ¼ cup ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoons ground cumin
- 2 tablespoons mesquite-flavored seasoning
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
Instructions
- Mix sugar, seasoned salt, paprika, chili powder, black pepper, cumin, mesquite-flavored seasoning, and onion powder together in an airtight container. Store in a cool, dark place.

I wanted to do a trial run before making a full batch so I scaled this recipe way back and made just enough to do my rack of pork ribs. With that being said, this was pretty good but I’m glad I did the trial run first. I feel the sugar and salt both need cut back by quite a bit.
