Wonderful!
More like bacon! This is a meal of the ages, with cabbage, bacon, and even Irish. You know what, I give it a 2/5,
I added a little caraway seed and onion because we enjoy the flavor.
This is just about the easiest and tastiest cabbage I’ve ever had! I definitely recommend it!
This is the way I have fixed fried cabbage for years…And…Yes! I now live in the south but my mother fixed it this way too and I was raised in the north!! Simple, easy and delicious. You can substitute butter for the bacon grease with great results too.
Followed exactly as written. It was a hit at our St Patrick potluck. If you love bacon, you need to try this.
Very tasty and easy to make.
Delicious! I poured off some bacon fat and added some butter.
I’m not a fan of cabbage but I’m willing to try anything with bacon. This side dish is good, even though it’s not good for you. I used a package of coleslaw to cut down on prep time and only 5 slices of regular bacon and was liberal with the pepper. Great side to our corned beef brisket.
Very good! Ate it with Wrap & Kirkland Dinner Hot Dog.
Omg I can’t believe how good this is!! Cabbage and bacon who would have thought 2 ingredients could be so tasty?? I did add a teas of brown sugar and some salt. Don’t hesitate, make this!!!!!
Pretty good! Best part was that it was so simple. Thank you.
Absolutely delicious. I followed the recipe but wish I had a larger and deeper pan. Oh well, this is a definite keeper!
I added spinach carrots and artichokes plus cream. It was yum
I love fried cabbage! I add some beef bouillon and reduce it, and add a little cider vinegar to serve. Cabbage is a gift that proves God loves the Irish!
This dish is very low in carbs so will make again.
This was amazing! I added garlic and onion powder along with a med size onion and salted to taste. Keeper!!!
this was simple and delish. even my picky husband and son who hate veggies ate it all up for our st. paddy’s dinner. thank you for the recipe
I’ve made cabbage dishes that have bacon grease in them before, so I knew that I prefer less than what this recipe called for. I probably used 2 T instead of 1/4 cup. It turned out great! I added a little Better than Bouillon to season as well as some salt. My company ate almost the entire bowl. Very good!
Simply the quickest most delicious dish!! I LOVE it! Sure you can add to it but I love it just like the recipe!
I’ve made this a few times and every time has been delicious. I made no changes to the recipe the first time. I added chopped onion the second time. Quick and easy with a great taste.
