Ingredients
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 2 tablespoons harissa
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon garlic paste
- ½ teaspoon caraway seeds
- ½ teaspoon ground coriander
Instructions
- Combine tomato sauce, harissa, olive oil, garlic paste, caraway seeds, and coriander in a saucepan. Bring to a simmer over medium-low heat.
- Simmer until sauce has started to thicken, 5 to 10 minutes. Remove from heat and let sit for 15 minutes for flavors to develop.
Reviews
This is ok. It tasted overwhelmingly of tomato sauce, though. I suggest using 1/2 cup tomato sauce and add more if you like. It’s also better warm, so heat it up if you refrigerate it. I used it for air-fried empanadas and potatoes.
