Ingredients

  1. 1 cup tomato sauce
  2. 2 tablespoons harissa
  3. 2 tablespoons olive oil
  4. 1 tablespoon garlic paste
  5. ½ teaspoon caraway seeds
  6. ½ teaspoon ground coriander

Instructions

  1. Combine tomato sauce, harissa, olive oil, garlic paste, caraway seeds, and coriander in a saucepan. Bring to a simmer over medium-low heat.
  2. Simmer until sauce has started to thicken, 5 to 10 minutes. Remove from heat and let sit for 15 minutes for flavors to develop.

This is ok. It tasted overwhelmingly of tomato sauce, though. I suggest using 1/2 cup tomato sauce and add more if you like. It’s also better warm, so heat it up if you refrigerate it. I used it for air-fried empanadas and potatoes.
