Grilled Cabbage Wedges

This is one of my favorite quick, healthy, and flavorful dishes. My kids love it too. This chickpea tuna salad tastes great as a side dish or as a main course if you prefer not to eat meat.

Ingredients

  1. 1 medium head cabbage
  2. 8 metal skewers
  3. ½ cup olive oil, or as needed
  4. 1 pinch seasoned salt (such as Lawry’s®), or to taste
  5. 1 pinch ground black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat an outdoor grill for medium heat and lightly oil the grate.
  2. Cut cabbage into 8 wedges. Place a metal skewer through each wedge to hold in place and keep from falling apart. Drizzle both sides with olive oil and sprinkle with seasoned salt and pepper.
  3. Place directly on the grill and cook until grill marks are achieved, turning once, 8 to 12 minutes total. Remove from skewers and serve.
