I made the decision to try making a breakfast quiche one Sunday morning. I constantly explore for new methods to prepare sun-dried tomatoes since I adore them. I believe that sausage and tomatoes go together beautifully.

My family loved this recipe even though I used a pinch of black pepper, no sesame seeds and used minced garlic. A new family staple in our kitchen. Thank you Lorna!
11.6.21 Followed the recipe to the letter, with the exception of replacing the milk with FF half-and-half (that amount was spot on for 8 potatoes) and omitting sesame seeds (that just wasn’t going to work with the rest of my meal). One little change and that is peeling and quartering the two cloves of garlic and cooking with the potatoes. Although I did mash the garlic with the potatoes, its flavor was still subtle, and I would add at least one more garlic clove in the future. These potatoes were creamy with perfect consistency, and although an indulgence, I most definitely will make again (just not too often!).
Don’t like sesame seeds so sprinkled with chopped up green onions
Delicious. I modified by adding more garlic (1.5 tbsp) to bring out more garlic flavor.
Loved it did not add sesame seeds
It was a great recipe! Overall, you can really taste the garlic in it, and the milk really helps give it that creamy consistency. I’ve made it a few times, actually, and I really recommend adding bacon bits.
I added more salt and butter.
Quick, and very easy to make.
No changes
Good mashed potatoes, but I needed to add a bunch of garlic to get the garlic flavor.
First time making these hubby loved them. I don’t think I will change anything delicious as is.
really good, really easy!!
I used 5 red potatoes, 3 clove garlic, sprinkle of kosher salt, sprinkle of black pepper, 1/4 cup of milk, a small amount of the insta ranch powder, and 5 tablespoons of butter. Turned out awesome! Used the kitchen aid for mashing and cooked the potatoes for about 20 minutes. Yummy! Going to go great with the Traeger smoked steaks??
My wife who is not even a potato head like me went back for seconds…. Case closed.
I used red potatoes and added the garlic cloves (whole) the last 10 minutes of boiling. This came out very good, except I did need to add an extra tablespoon of the milk to make it a bit creamier. I also added garlic salt to give it a bit more flavor. I first mashed the potatoes with a hand masher, then used an electric mixer to finish it to the right texture.
Add a little less garlic and no sesame seeds. More milk is also nessasary
I used yellow (gold) potatoes instead of russet. Still very good.
Beautiful mashed potatoes with about the same amt of butter, milk, and seasonings as I usually make. This was my first time adding garlic to them. We love them. The only thing I would different is to add more garlic because we love lots of garlic. I will make these many more times.
I made oven fried chicken to go with this so I roasted several garlic cloves with the chicken then added them to the potatoes 🙂 Very good!
Really good and easy. Serve with garlic mashed.
I boiled the garlic as I’m nuts too suggested which made it super easy to work with. I used Fairlife (Lactose free milk) but besides that I followed the recipe. I liked it a lot.
