April 28 2021 I made this today with French cut green beans. It was delicious ! Wish I had found this recipe sooner.

This was pretty good. I used fresh green beans, parboiled, and cut back on the olive oil. I threw in sliced, deseeded tomato near the end for color. Will probably make again because of the ease and we usually have the ingredients on hand.

The tester is awesome, whole family loves it! Simple side dish..

This was very good until I added the cheese. Parmesan cheese was an added flavor that didn’t enhance the dish. I also cut back on the oil to one tbsp.

This is one of my favorite side dishes ever. I have probably made it more than 10 times. I recommend not using whole green beans, I recommend using French style green beans.

Easy and tasty. Reduced the olive oil to 1 Tbsp and sauteed an onion before adding the garlic. I steamed the green beans, rinsed in cold water and then added them to the pan. Great side dish for Christmas dinner.

I made this just as it was stated, because I’m not a cook and it was very good. My son doesn’t like green beans and I didn’t have to fight him to eat them so, that alone makes it four stars.

Delicious and easy!

My family loved this and every bite was eaten. I used frozen beans because that’s what I had on hand. I added a bit of diced onion and reduced oil to 1 tablespoon. Very good! I will make this again.

SO GOOD. My boyfriend and I absolutely love this recipe, and it is so quick and easy to do. I do use frozen beans instead of canned ones though, and I just throw in however many I think we will eat. I don’t think I will ever eat green beans another way again.

We made this to go along with Christmas dinner today and it was fantastic. My wife decided that “1 medium head of garlic” couldn’t possibly be right; that’s an awful lot of garlic, so she used 3 fairly big cloves of garlic, definitely not the whole head. She also used frozen green beans instead of canned; otherwise, stayed with the recipe as written, and it turned out great.
Paul Wilkins
did not like it
