My favorite salad is the one with the avocado and feta. To taste, adjust the feta.

Added more garlic, also left the bacon fat to sauté the onions in. I thought it was quite tasty.
Loved this recipe for fresh green beans.
Awesome so tasty everyone liked.. and easy enough to follow .. will continue to make for family gatherings
This is a good basic green bean recipe. Nothing really special but a tasty way to use up my garden green bean abundance. I’ll probably make it again and tweak the seasoning a bit to add more flavor
This recipe was simple, and surprising good. I threw it together last minute and my kids ate it and complimented it.
Add the bacon and chopped tomatoes at the end of the cooking time.
Absolutely delicious!
I followed the recipe, but left out the butter and chicken broth. I didn’t see any reason to add butter when I had bacon grease. I used half of the bacon grease to fry the onions and garlic. Then I added the beans and a little water to keep them from burning until ready to serve. I stirred in the bacon pieces just before serving. They were delicious.
Delicious but I left out the salt
This is a delicious recipe. So very easy too. I made it exactly as written, but without the salt. Maybe a little extra bacon too. Not a bean left, and other people that ate it commented on how good it was. It really is!
Followed the recipe, but we like the beans a little more cooked, so in a separate pot, we boiled the beans in water and chicken broth 50/50 for about 20 minutes. In the meantime, in a large skillet, I sautéed the garlic, onions and all the other stuff in the butter and chicken broth. Then I added the beans and cooked them until I was satisfied with the texture of the beans. They turned out great.
I made this exactly according to recipe EXCEPT I substituted cubed ham for the bacon. Liked it a lot better with the ham!
Made it as the recipe call for. It was excellent.
My nine year old loves this! The whole family devours it but it’s now 9s favorite way to eat garden picked beans.
I initially left out the salt thinking the bacon would be enough. but I ended up adding it plus some garlic powder and onion powder to taste. it was awesome.
YUM! I basically followed the directions but didn’t add the bacon until they were served, as we like it crumbly not soft. Thank you for sharing your recipe!
Loved this! My husband said these were the best green beans he has ever eaten, even better than Texas Roadhouse!
My family loved them! They were a nice change to just steaming them. I did not use all the butter she called for, I only used a pat and some of the reserved bacon grease. I will definitely make them again ??
Instead of bacon I used Turkey smoked sausage. Cut it up in little pieces and OMG!!!! Soooooo goooooood.
Fabulous recipe. A refreshingly delicious alternative to the classic green bean casserole.
This turned out so good!
