Loved it. Nice fresh taste. Added more parsley from the garden. Good recipe

Made it on the fly with a half head of cabbage, shredded a carrot, and used 6 scallions for the onion. Other than the ‘Cole’, what’s the significance of coupling this with the famous composer/songwriter? Great salad with roasted potato quarters and pork tenderloin with a dry rub.

8/20/22 – I made it this p.m. It’s in the fridge. Will have a taste of it this evening. If I like it, I’ll serve at dinner.

Made this for family (parents, sister, husband, daughter) and there was maybe 1/2 cup left. Everyone loved it…which has never been said of any other slaw recipe I made in the past.

Absolutely deliscious!!! Everyone loved it and wanted the recipe. The only change I made was instead of buttermilk I used natural yogurt.

Pretty darn delicious! Made it per instructions with the exception of buttermilk. I Figured it had enough vinegar and making some for three tablespoons wouldn’t be worth it. I used heavy cream instead. Much more tastier than my recipe! Oh, and I added raisins. You have to let them plump back up though.

(second review) I made this as written a few days ago and it’s fantastic, but today I added some dried cranberries to the leftovers and it’s next level!! ??

I will likely add about half the apple cider vinegar next time. Delish!

I followed the recipe exactly and it was delicious! We had it with pulled pork and baked beans. I wouldn’t change a thing.

I followed the reciple, however I didn’t use buttermilk, and I added red cabbage as well as a bit more carrots. It turned out amazing, and I’ll never go back to store bought!! Thanks for sharing 🙂

Our favorite cole slaw recipe. I use slightly less sugar and use reduced fat buttermilk (that’s all I can ever find in the store). It’s even better the second day.

Very tasty addition to our bbq.

Real similar to the one I make. Question I have is why did you put Cole Porter name on it. This is not a recipe that he used. He is a relative of mine and the family knows nothing of him using this recipe. Just curious….

I chopped up couple of pieces of bacon and added to it. Excellent addition to our Lobster rolls last night.

I made the slaw exactly as written but added craisins cause I’ve always liked them in my slaw! Love this recipe! I will continue to use this as my coleslaw recipe. Thank you for posting this recipe!

It was just okay!, I will not make it again.

Really enjoyed this. Creamy sauce; not too tangy, just right. I served it with a pulled pork on a bun.

It’s was real good. Way better than any restaurant’s. I sub the butter milk with sour cream and added celery. Even my 4 year old ate all if his serving.
