Although there are other taco bean dips, this one contains a special ingredient—mayonnaise—that makes it exceptionally delicious. It tastes extremely creamy as a result. Try it; I bet you’ll enjoy it!

Reviews
I cut mine in 2″ pieces and then in half lengthwise and cooked less. Twenty minutes for whole carrots would still be too long for our tastes. I used less brown sugar for taste, the hubbs loved them whereas he normally isn’t a fan. He even had leftovers. Will make these again!
No changes. Very easy to follow directions, tastes so good. Had a friend over she loved them as well
10/10 recommend! I used a bag of baby carrots cut lengthwise. Followed other reviewers and steamed – only took about 10 mins. I doubled the butter and brown sugar cause I wanted extra sauce to dip Easter ham in. Simmered about 10 minutes. I also added a dash of both cinnamon and red pepper flakes (other reviewers recommended) and it was amazing! Sweet and a little spicy. I’ll make these often – they were so easy and different from ordinary veggies!
Quick and simple. They are so good!
My family’s favorite carrot recipe! No leftovers no matter how much I make!
Hubby absolutely loves carrots this way. I am making them again for Thanksgiving this year!
Made this last night for Thanksgiving (Canada celebrates in October) dinner using carrots I had harvested from our garden. It was super delicious and extremely easy to make. It was the hit of the dinner with everyone commenting on them and asking for the receipt
My kids love these!! A sweet fun way to add carrots to any meal. Big hit at family dinners too!
I thought this recipe was well balanced in buttery sweetness and salt. It was easy to make and it will stay in my recipe box for future use.
Like grandma’s recipe. Just one thing grandma added this recipe didn’t add is a tap of vanilla.
Followed the recipe, but added some agave syrup. Made it much better. I agree with others in that I wish the glaze was a little thicker, so next go around I’ll have to amend the recipe to make a thicker glaze.
This recipe was really good. I’ve recently tried other candied/glazed carrot recipes and my husband didn’t like them. This one, however, he really enjoyed. It was so simple and delicious.
Super easy and the entire family loves it!
Simple and delicious!
very good and very easy, well that is until I called mom, she said her mom used a small spoonful of molasses as well, and she was right, also used no pepper, just a little sea salt. PERFECT! thankyou for this easy sidedish when you are in a crunch for time. served them at thanksgiving, everyone tore them up, had a little leftovers too I was gonna hide for myself, but nope! the partner spied them while doing dishes and they dissapeared.
Good Recipe! I added a little more Brown sugar & butter & a dash of Vanilla. This is almost dessert! Definitely worth cooking!
It worked out great
It was easy and delicious
Followed the recipe exactly. Very easy and hubby loved them; I however feel they are lacking that extra something, so may try again with some modifications as noted in others reviews. Regardless, will definitely have this in my recipe rotation from now on
These were Delicious and simple to make.
So easy and so good! Thanks
