Baked Cheesy Hash Browns

In my family, we prepare this beautiful holiday dessert every year. If you want a less spicy version, you may leave the cloves out.

Ingredients

  1. 1 (26.5 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
  2. 2 cups sour cream
  3. 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
  4. 2 cups cornflakes cereal
  5. ½ cup butter, melted
  6. 1 ½ pounds frozen hash brown potatoes

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Stir cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, Cheddar cheese, corn flakes, and butter together in a bowl. Fold hash brown potatoes into the soup mixture; pour into a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  3. Bake in preheated oven until golden brown on top, about 50 minutes.
