WOW! This was a hit. Top 5 all time Allrecipes! I added Romano cheese right to the sauce at the very end and it thickened up nicely! I used a Chardonnay for the white wine. I served it with angel hair pasta that i drizzled with olive oil and topped with steamed spinach. OMG, absolutely outstanding.

This is one of my favorite basic shrimp scampi recipes and I made it for my uncle who was an aspiring amateur chef and he was delighted with my presentation. Enjoy it and live it up! Danny R.

Very good and easy to assemble and make. We added a small amount of onion slivers because we are onion fans. The recipe came together nicely! Will make again!!

First I made a few changes to recipe, I used red wine instead of white wine. I also subbed out the shrimp for cut up all beef hot dogs. instead of noodles I used white beans. I only had cheddar cheese so I used that instead of parmesan. I added a little bit of tomato paste and some cumin along with the pepper and chili powder. Overall it was ok, i would eat it again next time I’m craving shrimp scampi and short on time.

Uber easy to follow recipe, and I only tweaked it by putting a small onion in with the garlic but the rest of the recipe I followed as written and it came out amazing. I have not made it in a very very long time and I don’t know what happened to my original recipe but this one is definitely a keeper.

While cooking the shrimp, I threw in a bag of fresh spinach and a pkg of mushrooms, sliced. Yummy meal.

Delicious! Keeping this recipe in favorites! I made rosemary focaccia bread with pine nuts. Definitely need a crusty bread to sop up the wine sauce.

I made it for supper tonight and it was very good. I put more red pepper to give it a little punch.

I have made what I considered a version of shrimp scampi in the past, it was more a cross between shrimp scampi and shrimp picata. This is the 1st time I actually followed a recipe. I loved it! Now I did change it just a wee bit. Instead of boiling the sauce for 30 seconds I removed the shrimp from the pan and let the sauce reduce a bit. I also used asiago cheese instead of parmesan because that is what I had on hand. I love this recipe and it was so incredibly easy. I will make it again for sure!

I made exactly as written. This recipe is simple to make but delivers so much flavor. I have added it to my monthly rotation. Yummy!

Really good. Even with the adjustments to the recipe I had to make. Could only find frozen cooked shrimp! Followed the directions and just cooked til warmed thru so they didn’t get tough. Tasted great.

Delicious! I serve on a bed of rice.

This was so much easier than I thought it would be. I pretty much followed recipe as is. 1 cup of wine seems like a lot, but I added a little corn starch. After pouring the sauce over the servings, and adding plenty of parmesan, it was creamy and fantastic.

I had never made this before and it turned out so incredibly well! I used more garlic than the recipe and didn’t add it until the shrimp had cooked for a few minutes. I used Franzia pino grigio and it was nice and subtle in the recipe. You will likely have to add some salt to your taste, but that works out well since too much sodium is bad and will ruin any dish. Everyone was raving about it and I am so pleased with how it turned out. I will be making it again!

I left the cheese out, used thin spaghetti, doubled everything and it served 4 with just enough leftovers for lunch tomorrow. I was wondering if the wine might be a bit overpowering since it didn’t have a much time to cook down but, dang it was good

Absolutely marvelous. Wife asked for it for birthday dinner.

I followed the recipe. Added more garlic, like almost a whole head. Cut back a little on the wine. I added broccoli that I steamed in the microwave. That was about it. I thought it was quite good and easy to make. If you like garlic, 4 cloves won’t cut it.

the sauce was sooo tasty and buttery and delicious! and it stuck to the pasta well. I made it for my picky grandma and she loved it. The only problem is that the shrimp ends up being over cooked by the time the sauce boils. next time I will add the wine in earlier and let the shrimp continue to cook. Id rather reduce the sauce than over cook the shrimp.

was missing something. i added a very little bit of old bay to the butter with shrimp, a little worchestershire and some diced scallions on top when done.
