This fantastic (and simple) recipe that I learned from my aunt involves baking salmon in a lemon-dill butter sauce. The seafood here is really complemented by the tastes. For this recipe, I prefer to use wild Alaskan salmon, but any salmon will do. These are simply approximations as I rarely take measurements. Change up the ingredients to your liking!

V.ery easy. I didn’t change anything. A little too lemony, but quite tasty and good texture. I served it with steamed zucchini, which went very well together
Delicious and easy! Did it with fresh dill and garlic and the rest as per the recipe ; perfect! Thank you for sharing and congrats on the well deserved status here on allrecipes!
My husband loved this dish. He says it’s a keeper. Very easy to make.
I cooked it for 23 minutes and broiled it for 2 minutes at the end. It was just perfect! Great recipe! Thank you!!
Juicy and flavorful! I added some scallions and capers and three of us inhaled all 15 oz lol!!
This turned out great, instead of garlic powder I used fresh garlic, then removed it afterwards, it was extremely good wven got the approval of the most picky eater in my home… Great recipe!!! Thanks
Excellent, easy. I added white wine, used shallots instead of onions. Very moist
Very tasty, used fresh dill and paired with brown jasmine rice a hearty, healthy meal’
I cut the lemon juice and the dill in half. The dill was about right, but there was still too much lemon juice for my preferences.
Enjoyed this okay, but for my taste the lemon was a bit too strong and quite an excess of butter. Kept to the recipe except for using fresh dill instead of dried. Gotta say, the leftovers were 5 star when I added the salmon broken up and all that lemon butter to egg noodles and steamed broccoli. That was outstanding dish and how I’ll use this recipe in the future.
Yeah, this is good! It ended up being way too much butter for me, so I poured what was left of that mix over the veggies I was roasting to go with this and that was amazing! I didn’t measure the seasonings, just put a liberal amount on each filet.
We all liked it, and it was easy to make. I doubled the receipe, and found that there was too much dill. If you double the recipe, I would change the dill amount to 1 & 1/2 tablespoon of dried dill.
This was really good! I took others’ advice and added the dill and garlic to the butter/lemon juice mix.
Delicious and easy meal!!
simple and delicious!
So simple and so easy to make! It’s absolutely delicious!
My husband, picky son, and I loved this recipe. I had fresh dill from the garden I wanted to use and this was perfect for it! The salmon was tender and very tasty. I combined all the other ingredients in the small bowl and then spooned the mixture over the salmon before baking. Next time, I will definitely mince or press fresh garlic into the mixture instead of using the garlic powder though.
Oh my gosh delish! I used fresh minced garlic and mixed all the ingredients together except for the salt. i sprinkled that directly on the fish. It came out moist and flavorful. I cooked it wrapped in foil and I think that helped retain some of the moisture.
Really good and great dill flavor. Next time I’ll cut down on the butter a bit for less calories but it made it quite tasty!
This was very good. I used fresh dill and no garlic and didn’t measure anything. Also tossed some green beans in S&P and EVOO and roasted alongside the fish. I will make it again.
My husband loved it! Because I don’t like fish, period, I don’t know how to cook it very well. This is so simple even I produced what my hubby thought was great!
