Use as a filling for burritos or serve this simple rice and bean casserole with avocado and sour cream on top. Inspired by the rice and black bean casserole from Green Valley Kitchen.

I wasn’t crazy about this recipe.
One of our new favorites. We aren’t big fish eaters normally, so this helps us get some in our diet. Simple, quick, and very tasty. I would serve this to company.
Something went terribly wrong here. I followed the instructions exactly, but immediately the glaze slid off into the pan and proceeded to smoke and then burn. Had to throw out both the salmon and the pan. I will say that after living on a sailboat for 7 years and cooking fish almost every day, broiling is not my preferred method of cooking fish. It’s too easy to overcook.
Loved it! Only used 2 filets, since there are only 2 of us. The rest of the ingredients stayed the same. I did change the cooking method though. Cooked in oven at 375 degrees for 15 minutes, refreshed the glaze, then broiled for 5 minutes. Will definitely be making again.
Excellent!
So simple! I don’t salt or pepper. I just do the brown sugar and Dijon mustard. Superb!!
Love it! I made this super simple recipe, but I made a slight change to the cooking method. I wrapped my broiler pan with tin foil, started the fish on the grill to give it a smokey flavor, then moved it inside to the broiler to finish it up. (And keep an eye on it!) The best part of the fish was the crispy thin super glaze. I thought I had overcooked it, but it was excellent! The thin part of the fish was sweeter, the thicker part of the fish was savory. Served it on yellow rice and green beans. I would DOUBLE the sauce for 4 fillets!
To die for! How could something be this good with only 3 ingredients? I chose to bake it at 375 for 30 minutes as per some of the other reviews. PS: Baked at 400 for 15-18 minutes another time and I prefer it.
This recipe is awesome! we’ve found a new way to eat salmon, and it’s SO tasty!
Absolutely delicious and super easy-quick to prepare!!
It was so delicious and everyone enjoyed it.
The Best salmon recipe I’ve had yet. I did double the brown sugar amount & added a dollop of mayo to mellow out the horseradish mustard that I used instead of the Dijon.
First time I cooked salmon and this recipe couldn’t be easier and delicious. Will definitely make again.
Pretty good, similar to a honey-mustard glaze. Add orange or lemon zest for a ‘POP’ ….. and/or add a 1/4 teaspoon of liquid smoke, then it’ll be like the smoked salmon I grew up with. My G-pa lived on the Klamath River in northern California and smoked salmon and/or smoked steel-head was my absolute favorite snack, better than candy, cake, cookies or pie!
I enjoyed it, husband on the fence.
delicious and easy!
best salmon i ever cooked added honey to recipe and scored the fillets before grilling them on a cedar plank
This is definitely my families favorite salmon recipe. We have tried others but always come back to this one!
Will make again because this is an easy, delicious way to prepare salmon with no cleanup using aluminum foil.
loved this recipe! For a not so thrilled salmon eater, I was totally impressed! Literally the only “negative” I could say was the thinner tips of the filet got a bit crunchy. Naturally, this was expected due to broiling. Paired this on top a bed of roasted sweet potatoes and a side of green beans.
super easy and super flavorful! I tossing in the air fryer for about 10 minutes for crispy edges
