My mom made something similar..I liked it but to rich for me, in other words takes the healthiness right out of it.. I just made Atlantic salmon, with dry rub of brown sugar, and cracked pepper mix. On the side, horseradish mayo
Love the simplicity of this recipe. My boys really enjoy it and ask for it. I do find that as written, I end up with too much sauce. Not a bad thing… the sauce keeps well in the fridge.
This is so easy and my husband loves it. It’s a win win.
Great. Suggestion chop 10 minutes off cook time. Remove place rack top shelf set to broil and broil a couple minutes. Nice crispy top. I also serve sauce in side cup in case someone wants more like me. Great keto dish.
The cooking time is too low and too long. I recommend cooking at a higher temp for a shorter period of time like 400-425 for 15 -20minutes. If the dill sauce starts to brown slightly, no worries as the salmon has enough natural oil to prevent dryness. If Alaskans were to eat this, it would likely be raw, and that said I like my salmon rare to medium rare at the most. High temp short cook time achieves just that.
This was a combination of a great recipe and great salmon. I had a piece of king salmon and this recipe. It was absolutely a perfect combination. You have to try this. I never felt compelled to write a review before but I had to fior this combination.
I love this recipe. Super easy. And absolutely delicious. I make it once a month probably and my husband gets excited every time.
Loved it, came out great, my only comment for me is next time a little less Mayo.
Delicious! This will be the recipe I use for salmon from now on. Thank you.
Kid friendly. Whole family loved it. I didn’t have enough mayo, I also didn’t have plain greek yogurt. So using what’s on hand I used full fat lime greek yogurt and mayo, equal parts dijon mustard and yellow mustard. All my seasonings were dried. I only used what was listed in the recipe, and followed the measurements exactly So yummy and we used the extra sauce (it made more than needed to go on top of the fillets) on it after. Delicious!
It was so moist, which I believe is from the Mayo spread. I made a broccoli rice dish to go along with it. Very healthy and delicious!
kids actually ate salmon! I personally thought that the sauce was too thick but kids loved it
Nothing special. Mustard/Mayo sauce was dry
The sauce was great. I used fresh herbs I grew in the house.
Thanks Jesse, I always add comments from experienced chefs because I only started cooking a year ago. I added a tablespoon of brown sugar and few drops of Tabasco. Cheryl, my wife, could eat salmon every night and she loved Jesse’s recipe. Thanks to all, Jack
This is a great go to comfort food for me. It easily adjusts down for a single person and is so satisfying. I make this all the time, but with fresh herbs.
This was an absolute success! I made this dish for Christmas Eve and it was delicious. The sauce was prepared one day ahead and it taste like I spent hours preparing it. Highly recommend with a side dish of garlic, butter rice. This is a keeper for sure. Thank you!
My friend and I really enjoyed this. We may make it another time or two.
Delicious! My smaller fillets only required 12-15 minutes, so gauge yours accordingly. I changed up the mayo for low-fat Greek yogurt and used Dijon mustard. We will happily make this again! So good!
Way to much mustard, it is all I could taste and I did not use as much as the recipe called for.
The dill sauce was amazing hubby loved it. I use it as a dipping sauce. Yummy
