Ingredients
- 1 (1 pound) salmon fillet
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoons chopped garlic
- 2 tablespoons chopped crystallized ginger
- ½ cup dry white wine
- ½ cup low-sodium soy sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
- Place salmon in a large baking dish and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Spread with garlic and ginger and pour wine and soy sauce gently over top. Cover with aluminum foil.
- Bake in the preheated oven until easily flaked with a fork, about 25 minutes.

I liked the idea of this recipient but didn’t have all the ingredients, and left out garlic. I used mango ginger chutney, toasted sesame oil, dry white wine, soy sauce, tbsp brown sugar, flour to thicken it a bit, all whisked together and gently poured over a 1.5 lb piece of salmon. At the last I added ground black pepper and green olives stuffed with red pimiento…..@400 degrees for 20 minutes, the skin came crunchy, the flesh tasty and a bit undercooked. I’ll try it again
