My preferred seasoning for smoking meat is this sweet pork rub. Although I made it for smoked pork butt, it also tastes great on chicken and ribs. For the finest flavor, generously rub the meat with the mixture and let it sit overnight. A lovely bark is produced with brown sugar. Two 8-pound pork butts or six racks of ribs can be covered by this recipe’s yield.

I made this delicious salmon recipe as directed except I forgot to turn it over halfway through while marinating.I had 3 fillets totaling 1 lb. and 20 minutes was perfect!
I made this with one exception. No garlic have a garlic allergy. I used celery salt in place ogarlic salt and added crushed ginger. It was delicious. The base recipe would be equally awesome . Sorry I had to change but great start point
This was excellent! We eat a lot of fish and I am always looking for good creative recipes and this fit the bill! Thank you!
pretty good. 20 min is way too long in my oven. 12 min was good. tasty!
I’ve made this many many times and it’s excellent. The only change I make is to bake at 400 for about 12 min. 20min is way too long. Probably depends how thick the cut of salmon is. I get mine at Trader Joe’s and 12 min is perfect.
What a fantastic meal! Turned out so delicious and everyone loved it! I used cedar plank salmon minus the plank in the oven, it will be on our table again!
Easy and tasty
So good! Such a great balance of flavors. My husband said it was the best salmon he’s had.
It was very good. My kids even liked it.
We make this recipe exactly as is and we make it with white Jasmine rice. We then pour any remaining liquid over the rice and place the salmon on top of the rice on the plate. We normally have it once a week!
This is my go-to salmon recipe! I use garlic powder instead of garlic salt, but otherwise make as directed. I find that 15 minutes is plenty of time in my oven. Such a simple and delicious recipe! When I was at an airbnb one time, I thought I had all the ingredients, but there was Worcestershire sauce and no soy sauce. I made it with that and I actually liked it better.
Doctor ordered me to eat more fatty fish increase my “good” cholesterol ….. I never liked salmon because it was always too “fishy”. This was just delicious.
Best yet!
I make it all the time and love it. Just enough sweetness and tender . Try it! You’ll love it too.
Easy breezy I think marinade is important so at least a few hours to capture flavor
This is a very simple marinade to prepare. I marinated the salmon for 2 hours and received thumbs-up from the table. This easy and tasty recipe will be repeated.
After years of trying to get the husband to eat salmon, I have now found three salmon recipes he will actually eat. This is one of the three and in fact I have it marinading right now and will be cooking in a few minutes. Thanks for giving me a salmon recipe he’ll actually eat! It’s delicious!
I made my own version from this recipe. I marinaded 2 fillets in a zip lock bag using fresh ginger, tamari sauce, minced garlic, avocado oil, and a splash of orange juice, and pepper. After 30 mins, I drained the fillets and padded dry with paper towels. I placed fish on foil in the air fryer, which was preheated to 400 degrees. I cooked for 10 mins, then, watched it closely, being careful not to overcook. In a saucepan, I brought pure maple syrup, freshly grated ginger, orange juice, a splash of balsamic vinegar, water, and tamari to a boil, then reduced it, to a thick glaze to pour over fillets. My husband raved about it!
Great taste and easy to make!
I’ve made this several times now and the entire family loves it!
I used a bourbon maple syrup. It was delicious and a big hit with my guests.
