I loved this recipe
It wasn’t super flavorful, but a good basic dish.
Loved this! So simple yet so yummy!
Excellent recipe! The salmon turned out perfectly flaky and moist. This is lightly flavored salmon which is what I prefer.
Really good! I would make it again!
This salmon was outstanding! The fresh herbs made the marinade so delicious and it was a nice change from other recipes that rely on sweet ingredients (like honey or brown sugar) to flavor the salmon. I will definitely be adding this to my list of meals for grilling in the summer.
Followed directions to a point. Used what I had and added a lil heat!
Wife enjoyed the grilled salmon…not too spicy but enough to compliment salmon.
Added a little brown sugar.
Easy to fix but keep in mind you have to let it marinate for 30 minutes . I thought it lacked flavor. I really thought it would have more flavor with the fresh herbs but was sadly disappointed.
This is the best salmon I’ve ever made on the grill and I’ve made a lot. I’m usually not a big fan of marinade for fish but this was wonderful!
The best and a regular now.
I absolutely loved this marinade! Just the right amount of lemon taste, and the rosemary and thyme added a nice subtle flavor.
The flavor was subtle but tasty. I grilled this on a George Foreman, basting often and it turned out perfect! My boyfriend loved it!
I grilled these salmon filets in my cast iron grill pan on the kitchen stove (looked like rain for grilling out). I loved the herb~ oil~lemon combo. I had all the herbs and onion in my garden. Broke up some romaine, to make a ceasar salad. We had Salmon/Ceasar salad with garlic bread for dinner!! Thanks for sharing.
Sorry to say, but I felt this resulted in a very bland tasting salmon. Because it is lower in sodium than the delicious soy sauce/brown sugar based marinades, and had fresh herbs, I was really hoping it would turn out better than it did.
I just made this for my son, I don’t care for salmon, and he LOVES IT! He said, “by far, this was the best salmon ever.”
We are not a big fish eating family but this recipe was spectacular. The salmon was so tender and it is incredibly easy to make. Definitely do this again.
Yum!!! We live in salmon country, and eat it year round. I loved the idea of this recipe because I grow all of the herbs. It was great, and mild enough to not overpower the fish. I’ll be able to vary this up depending on my garden, and it’s an easy thing to grow together. I even marinated a whole sockeye in it and froze it for eating later – the lemon will help it keep nicely.
Good taste. Convenient and easy to make. Definitely will use again.
I doubled this recipe and baked two fillets and it was pretty boring with almost no flavor. I might need to triple or quadruple the recipe for two fillets?
