Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
- ½ teaspoon minced garlic
- 2 (6 ounce) fillets center-cut salmon fillets with skin
- ¼ teaspoon lemon-pepper seasoning
- ⅛ teaspoon dried parsley
- cooking spray
- 3 thin slices lemon, cut in half
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 390 degrees F (200 degrees C).
- Combine melted butter and minced garlic in a small bowl.
- Rinse salmon fillets and dry with a paper towel. Brush with butter mixture and sprinkle with lemon-pepper seasoning and parsley.
- Spray the basket of the air fryer with cooking spray. Place salmon fillets in the basket, skin-side down, and top each with 3 lemon halves.
- Cook in the preheated air fryer for 8 to 10 minutes. Remove from the air fryer and let rest for 2 minutes before serving.

I didn’t have all of the ingredients on hand, but I did use the melted butter, garlic salt and lemon pepper seasoning. It tasted great.

This recipe was pretty easy. It’s my first time actually cooking something and with the air-fryer. It was pretty good!
Made this for a quick dinner one night before Christmas. I used the 4 thickest filets from half a whole salmon, thinking I’d eat 2 with my baked potato and lemon garlic broccoli, then save the other 2 for tacos or such the next day. it was a good plan! It was so delicious, I ended up eating it all! Don’t judge! LOL I’m a healthy eater, my weight remains steady, and I often only eat 2 meals a day. Grilling salmon this way is the main reason I bought my Ninja Foodie Grill & Air Fryer several months ago. whatever cooking method you use, it’s crucial you remove the salmon just before you think it’s fully done because it will continue to cook for another couple minutes which I’ve learned is the difference between flakey, moist filets and dry overcooked ones.

Ok, I got moans of “great, salmon” when I told the fam what was for dinner. I scaled the recipe for 5, didn’t change a thing and guess what? They told me, “ I think I do like salmon”. Ha! This was easy and VERY good. I cooked for 10 minutes and it came out great. Served it over my simple risotto and a side of fried corn and onions.
I’m happy to say that all came out well and my brother loved it! It was a little awkward trying to cook two pieces at one time in my air fryer, but recipe was great!
