It’s common to serve red skin potatoes as a side dish. Just a few simple steps are required, and if you follow them, you’ll experience extreme potato side dish enjoyment! For the greatest roasted red potatoes, you’ll need a sturdy roasting pan, plenty of olive oil, and enough time to roast the potatoes to a deep, rich color.

Prep Time: 10 mins
Cook Time: 20 mins
Total Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  1. 2 (4 ounce) salmon fillets
  2. salt and ground black pepper to taste

  4. 2 tablespoons honey
  5. 2 tablespoons water
  6. 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  7. 2 teaspoons sriracha sauce (Optional)
  8. 2 teaspoons soy sauce
  9. 1 large clove garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Season salmon fillets on both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook salmon fillets until flesh flakes easily with a fork, 5 to 6 minutes per side.
  3. Combine honey, water, brown sugar, sriracha sauce, soy sauce, and garlic in a small pot over medium heat; bring to a boil. Cook, stirring frequently, until glaze is thick and smooth, 5 to 7 minutes.
  4. Pour glaze over salmon fillets.

I’ve never been a big fan of salmon but this glaze makes me want to eat it more!

It was so good. Definitely will make it again. That sauce would be great on chicken and pork chops or ribs also. It was really good on the salmon. The only thing I cut back on the sirhacha. I used just 1/2 teaspoon. My husband likes heat but I don’t care for another. He said it was perfect. He was practically licking the pan!

I have made this several times. Even my husband, who professes not to like salmon, asks for it !! I changed somewhat. Did not cook on stove. After making the sauce, I spread ½ mixture on salmon and bake for 10 min. at 400 degrees (on parchment paper). Then spread rest of mixture on salmon and bake for 5 more min.

The overall flavor was great. I overcooked my salmon a little bit and the sauce was a little runny, maybe because I didn’t have any Sriracha sauce. Very simple to make and I had most of the ingredients on hand.

I scraped every bit of glaze out of the pan after the fish was one gone. This will be a regular item on my menu.

Did everything as written, though I did let Allrecipes double the recipe. I could not get the glaze to thicken. Eventually, I gave up on it and spooned it over the salmon. Thought the glaze/sauce was too sweet between the brown sugar and honey. But had it thickened so that it was glazed on the salmon, the combined flavors may have been perfect. I’ll try it again. Maybe only add the water to the glaze as needed.

Glaze doesn’t get that thick. I think you should take out the water I also added more honey

Yes I made it according to the recipe and it was great. I added some chopped onions and red peppers. Truly awesome. I also tweaked the recipe a bit making it with chicken wings instead of salmon. Also fantastic.

Really good! I don’t especially like salmon, but I’ll be making this again!

This was a last-minute find. Was going to make the Salmon with lemon dill. This popped up, I had all the ingredients. I’m not one for fish but tasted it and it was delicious.

I read some other tips here and it was AWESOME!!

Delicious! I made this for my boyfriend and he said it was the best salmon he’s ever had. 🙂 I would alter how you cook the salmon, though. Look up Gordon Ramsey’s youtube video on cooking salmon and it’ll be perfect.

Once the honey glaze cools off, it becomes very sticky, almost candy like. But the flavor waas amazing

This recipe was very simple and I loved that you didn’t have to marinate the salmon first. We added more sriracha, but we are a very spicy family. We also thought that the sauce would work for chicken as well. We will definitely make this recipe again.
