Easy and awesone recipe. A favorite in our house
I did not discard my garlic lol I added a couple shakes of dill weed. Quick, easy and not expensive!
Minor tweaking but don’t come at me. I used seasoned panko since this is what I had on hand, it was a game changer. Used extra butter since I had 16oz of pappardelle and used 4 cloves of fresh minced garlic (did not remove). So easy and so flavorful!
Only change was leaving garlic in and a tad more butter. You cannot have too much butter.
I added a sliced red bell pepper, 1/4 cup of heavy cream, a little Italian seasoning and followed the recipe. Served it over spaghetti noodles, it was delicious! Will definitely make it again!
Super yummy! I used chicken broth instead of white wine because that’s what I had on hand. I also used minced garlic and left it in. It was really good!
Didn’t remove the garlic. Marinated shrimp with Italian seasonings and onion. Then tossed in butter and wine.
Added more garlic ! You’ll love this recipe even more.
Great recipe to start with and tweak to your tastes. I trippled the garlic, did not discard it, added lemon juice, doubled the amount of wine and added a cup of the pasta water.
Absolutely loved this recipe but my daughter and I did do a few things different. We added some lemon juice, red pepper flakes, pinch of salt and pepper. We used a whole stick of butter and we left the garlic in sautéing with the shrimp. The sauce was thinking quickly with the breadcrumbs be sure to save your pasta water!!!
Followed exactly as written…It was like eating pasty oatmeal. Horrible
I added twice the garlic called for and did not discard. Also added one tablespoon lemon juice and would add S&P next time. Tossed with steamed peas and it was great, a hit with the kids too!
The 1/3 cup of wine maybe a little much. I had to use some chicken broth to tweak that bitter taste. I also used some parmesan grated cheese with the bread crumbs to thicken the sauce some. After the adjustments the taste was a lot better for my liking.
So I love garlic so I added 5 cloves of garlic and olive 1/4 cup of olive oil to the mix. Also 2 lbs. of raw shrimp. Was not sure at all about the bread crumbs so only added 1/2 cup and then 1/2 cup of parmigiana, and a tbls. of dried basal as well as 1/2 cup of 1/2 and 1/2 to the mix at the end. My wife couldn’t wait, as she kept dipping the Italian bread in the pan at it sautéed at the end. She is a constructive critic at times but this rendition all she kept saying was. OMG this is so good. The bread crumbs in my opinion did help as it soaked up some juice, it produced a creamy buttery cheesy sticky mix. It may take a year off your life, but some things are worth it!!
Made this following the recipe without changes. It was say to and the taste was good. Maybe could have used a little more garlic.
Easy to make and tasted wonderful.
Excellent recipe. Used one pound of shrimp so I cut back on the butter and a little on the bread crumbs. However, before serving I added some olive oil because I thought it might be too dry. That worked.
Loved it!!! I just added more garlic and kept the garlic and butter with it. I also added parsley and Parmesan cheese while in the skillet. You won’t regret trying.
I’ve made this twice – both times it was a huge hit. The second time I added 1/2 lb mushrooms, 1 zucchini (cut up) and 1 yellow squash (cut up). It was great with the veggies added as well.
This recipe is very, very easy. Clean up was a snap. And it was very good. This will be a usable recipe.. My hubby thought it was very good too. Thanks
I only used 1/2 box of pasta but full recipe of sauce. The sauce definitely needs to be doubled. It coated the pasta but could use more of the sauce. Also be very careful adding the bread crumbs as you don’t want it to be thick. We used 6 cloves of garlic as we like the taste – did not remove. Served with a green salad and bread sticks.
