Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon chopped fresh parsley
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- salt and ground black pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon whole black peppercorns
- 4 salmon fillets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Whisk together butter, lemon juice, parsley, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl. Stir in peppercorns. Dip salmon fillets, one at a time, into lemon mixture so the flesh side is coated. Place coated fillets onto a plate.
- Heat olive oil in a large, oven-proof skillet over medium-high heat. Once oil begins to smoke, place salmon, skin-side up, into the skillet. Cook in hot oil until flesh is seared and golden brown, about 1 minute.
- Place the skillet into the preheated oven and cook until salmon flakes easily with a fork, 10 to 12 minutes.

Loved it! Tasted great, I skipped the peppercorns, but was still pleased with the end result.
I used the recipe exactly. Think I’ll try again with some changes! Probably just me!
It was very tasty
This was a great recipe. Very easy and better than going to a restaurant!
It was my first time preparing fish, it turned out pretty well overall. However I was dealing with pretty hefty and thick fillets so I had to improvise quite a lot. But it was very good paired with spicy oven baked broccoli.
This was great and quick dish. Easy dish to makeafter a long day working. Easy clean up too.
Came out perfect and so much flavor!
My husband loved it, I altered it slightly by using the air fryer for 7 minutes on 350 degrees after searing it then I brushed the mixture over the salmon again once it was done
Very delicious my family loved it and made it a favorite
It’s really good, I used fresh cilantro and basil leaves instead of parsley and did 1/4 teaspoon salt and pepper. Definitely making this one again!!!!
I made this without prior planning, so did not have fresh parsley, but this was melt-in-your-mouth delicious! This will be my “go-to” salmon recipe from now on!
Fast and easy I used no butter a lot of lemon
I had frozen salmon that was sitting in my freezer that needed to be used before it expired. My husband wanted me to prepare it differently than I usually do, which is broil with an Asian style dressing. I found this because we like lemon pepper seasoned seafood and chicken and it was a recipe I gad all the ingredients . The only thing I did differently, was that I used fresh chopped garlic instead of garlic powder, ( fresh garlic is always better!) My husband and I loved it.
OMG I loved this. I didn’t change anything, only I added additional lemon pepper (between 1/2 and 1 tsp). I will be baking this time and again! Thank You!
Excellent as written. My husband, who does not like salmon, ate his entire portion. This is also compliant with the candida diet.
Loved it. Easy to make and came out awesome..
easy. Kept very moist. Don’t skip on the pepper.
I cooked this and the 12 minutes recommended still had my salmon raw had to cook for like 15 more minutes. And do you cook in the oven with the skin side up too?
DELICIOUS!! I made this exactly as directed and served with quinoa and broccoli. I felt like I was eating at a 5 star restaurant. It was very good and so quick and simple. Thanks for this fabulous recipe!
Excellent
This is a super easy recipe that goes very well with salmon. It was delicious and now my go to salmon recipe when I have lemon in the house.
