Broiled Garlic-Herb Salmon

  5.0 – 3 reviews  • Broiled Salmon Recipes

When it’s fresh and properly sautéed, asparagus is a fantastic vegetable. This is always a hit with my family and friends.

Prep Time: 20 mins
Cook Time: 10 mins
Total Time: 30 mins
Servings: 2
Yield: 2 fillets

Ingredients

  1. 2 (5 ounce) skin-on salmon fillets
  2. ⅓ cup olive oil
  3. 1 lemon, halved, divided
  4. ⅓ cup chopped fresh parsley
  5. ⅓ cup chopped fresh oregano
  6. ¼ cup chopped fresh basil
  7. 4 cloves garlic, or more to taste, minced
  8. 1 tablespoon kosher salt, divided
  9. 6 lemon slices

Instructions

  1. Set an oven rack about 6 inches from the heat source and preheat the oven’s broiler. Line a baking pan with aluminum foil.
  2. Pour oil into a medium bowl. Rinse salmon fillets and pat dry. Dip fillets into oil, being sure to coat both sides, and place skin-side down into the prepared baking pan. Squeeze as much juice as you can from 1 lemon half over the fillets. Coat both sides of salmon with parsley, oregano, basil, and garlic, and sprinkle with 1/2 of the kosher salt.
  3. Place under the preheated broiler and cook until center is light pink and edges are golden brown, 10 to 15 minutes.
  4. Remove fillets from the oven and immediately plate. Squeeze remaining lemon half over top and sprinkle with remaining kosher salt. Serve with lemon slices.
  5. You can use salmon steaks or fillets.
  6. Nutrition data for this recipe includes the full amount of oil. The actual amount of oil consumed will vary.

Delicious salmon recipe!

Delicious, easy, and perfectly cooked. I followed the directions other than the fact that I placed the salmon in a large ziplock bag, added all of the lemon, oil, and seasonings, then made sure the fish was evenly coated. Broiled until internal temp was 135, let rest for a few minutes, and it was perfect!
