Tequila Shrimp

The Hungarian mushroom soup is flavorful and easy to prepare. Although predominantly a mushroom soup, it also has other components that greatly contribute to flavor. This is a beloved soup among my family members who adore soup.

If you made this and didn’t like it you messed up or you are broken. Use good tequila, fresh limes and fresh cilantro. 1/2 a cup of light beer adds to it as well. Cuervo is tequila. Use Milagro or better.

Super easy, and delicious. I highly recommend making this recipe.

This was awesome. We made it as an appetizer, used 1 1/2 pounds of shrimp, and 1/4 cup of tequila. We would use a bit more garlic next time, but the taste was fantastic!

Really yummy! I did half tequila and half beer but that’s the only change. Will make it again and again!

We loved this recipe….I did cut down the amount of tequila….used 1/4 cup tequila and 1/4 cup beer.

I made this as part of a Mexican themed dinner night. I thought the tequila was still a bit strong, it did not cook out I could still taste it. And I didn’t want to cook longer overcooking the shrimp. If I make again I would maybe just only use 1/4 cup tequila.

The cilantro was overpowering and i might have made a mistake with my tequila of choice “1800” I can’t see myself trying to redo this recipe.

I made this with no change to the recipe,Just squeezed lemon juice over shrimp the last minute of cooking. It had no overpowering tequila taste at all,I asked my guest if he could tell me what taste stands out,He was surprised it was tequila.I believe the key to making this a delicious dish is to Definitely use unsalted butter,Do not use GOLD tequila,Use a good quality SILVER tequila like Patron. And cook until all liquid is gone and your shrimp is glazed.Yum,I will make again.

I made this for my Christmas party last night and served it as an appetizer. It was delicious! I did use 2 pounds of shrimp, but followed the directions. I have some leftover that I think I’ll serve for dinner tonight over pasta. I don’t think the tequila was overpowering as some reviewers stated,

Rather bland.

I would have given this 4.5 stars – 5 stars for being quick and easy, but I thought it was a bit too much liquid. I added the juice of 1/2 a lime and thought the flavors were really good. I will make this again for a quick dinner.

I made this for my family last night and we all fell in love. I served it with Jasmine rice and garlic texas toast. Thank you for the recipe, it is by far one of my favorites.
