Grilled Oysters with Chipotle Butter

This deep-fried corn is a straightforward, convenient, and novel preparation for corn on the cob. This was delicious at a fish fry we went to lately.

Ingredients

  1. 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  2. 1 chipotle pepper in adobo sauce, minced
  3. 1 pound oysters on the half shell

Instructions

  1. Preheat an outdoor grill for medium heat and lightly oil the grate.
  2. Place butter in a small bowl. Stir in chipotle pepper and set aside.
  3. Grill oysters for 4 minutes. Transfer oysters to a plate. Spoon chipotle butter over the oysters and serve.
