Slow-Cooker Teriyaki Ribs

Ingredients

  1. 2 ½ pounds baby back ribs, cut into 2-rib portions
  2. ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  3. ⅔ cup teriyaki sauce, divided
  4. 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  5. 2 cloves garlic, pressed

Instructions

  1. Sprinkle baby back ribs with pepper and place in a slow cooker. Pour 1/3 cup teriyaki sauce on top. Cover and cook until tender, 4 hours on High or 7 hours on Low.
  2. Cut ribs apart. Combine remaining 1/3 cup teriyaki sauce, balsamic vinegar, and garlic in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Simmer uncovered for 5 minutes. Brush sauce over ribs.

It came out of crock pot cooked well, but didnt care for it as much as bbq ribs.The teriyaki flavor seemed diluted.

Really enjoyed these ribs. I normally put in smoker, which of course is a great turnout every time but tried for the Teriyaki taste and they were a hit.

Absolutely delicious! Followed recipe to a T …except my slow cooker runs a little hotter than average so at 4 hours on low, it was falling off bone & ready to eat! Melt in your mouth tender! Will make again
