This sauce is excellent for dipping your wings in. Although the honey lessens some of the heat, this sauce has a lot of heat. This is without a doubt my preferred wing sauce recipe. After cooking, brush on sauce or toss wings in it.

Ingredients
- ½ cup ketchup
- ½ cup honey
- ½ cup prepared yellow mustard
- ¼ cup cider vinegar
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons red pepper flakes
- 2 tablespoons sriracha chile-garlic sauce
- 1 fluid ounce hot pepper sauce (such as Tabasco®)
- 1 fluid ounce sour mash whiskey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
Instructions
- Combine ketchup, honey, mustard, vinegar, soy sauce, red pepper flakes, chile-garlic sauce, hot pepper sauce, whiskey, and garlic in a saucepan; cook and stir over medium-high heat until sauce begins to bubble, 5 to 10 minutes. Remove saucepan from heat.

I eyed the measurements and felt they were off. Too hot, even for me. I used all of the ingredients, but to my taste. It ended up delicious! Thank you for the base!
This sauce was tasty but extremely spicy. I had to add more honey and coconut sugar to tone it down. It was good on wings but if you don’t like them lightning hot, I would add only one tablespoon of red pepper flakes and less half of the portion of siriacha.
