I made this for Christmas gifts one year! Everyone loved it.

Oh WOW! This is THE best buttermilk ranch dressing I’ve ever had! Made it exactly as written. This dressing is about as easy as it gets. I will also use it now as a base for creamy Italian dressing and add blue cheese for a delicious blue cheese dressing. Thank you!

So much better than store bought!

I had some leftover buttermilk, and this was the perfect use for it. My husband (whose first choice in salad dressings is not Ranch) said this was a winner.

This is perfectly yummy as is! Well, a little less salt, because I only use sea salt which has more flavor than iodized salt (which is really not good for anyone). I did use sour cream, in place of mayo, on my second batch, but I didn’t care for it. I’m obsessed with this super easy recipe. I never buy that nasty ranch dressing in a bottle. Shocking how anyone can eat that stuff? I’ve even noticed a change with the dried packet dressings which is why I decided to make my own. So glad I found this! Thank you for this recipe!

I made it as written.

All I did was use sour cream in place of the mayonnaise, DELICIOUS! Way better than store bought (I normally buy HVR) and I haven’t even let it sit to mingle the flavors yet.

I substituted Mayonnaise with Whipped Dressing, and added 1/2 tsp celery salt, and reduced the regular salt to 1/2 tsp. Next time around I will add 1/8 to 1/4 tsp of Penzeys India Ground Fennel Seed which I have on hand.

Outstanding! Easy to prepare and the flavor will spoil you. Always tasting fresh and flavorful. I have made this several times. It’s a big hit with our church group, a real crowd pleaser. What I appreciate is the wholesomeness of the ingredients. Store bought dressing contains too many chemical preservatives and will never stand a chance against this!
