Ingredients
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1 cup water
- ½ medium onion, diced
- ¼ cup lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon ground paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon chili powder
- 1 pinch ground black pepper
Instructions
- Mix ketchup, water, onion, lemon juice, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt, chili powder, and pepper together in a saucepan; bring to a boil. Boil for 5 minutes.
- You can use 3 tablespoons cider vinegar instead of the lemon juice, and you can add additional seasonings if desired.
