Amazing flavor, easy to make. I omitted water as many reviewers suggested.
Very good. I added 1 tsp dried oregano as well. This is a good basic dressing to which you can add herbs to your own liking. The only change I made was to use agave syrup instead of the brown sugar.
I was heartbroken when Newman’s Own Creamy Balsamic was discontinued, but this version is almost identical. I used coconut sugar and added a tad more than it called for and put in a magic bullet blender. Blending it def. helps with the creamy texture. It’s my new favorite dressing!
Excellent recipe and easy to make
I omitted the water, used 1 1/2 teaspoon honey instead of brown sugar, spicy brown mustard, 1 tablespoon mayo & 2 Chobian Whole Plain Greek Yogurt. It turned out perfect. I may try all yogurt next time.
5 stars once you omit the water completely. Also, honey is a delicious substitute for the brown sugar.
Made exactly as is, except without the water. Added a generous pinch of kosher salt and it is perfect! So easy!
This dressing is amazing!!!! We prefer a strong flavor to it so we don’t add the water but other than that made as is and it’s wonderful. We’ve been eating wedge salads with dinner every night since we discovered it with a drizzle of ranch and this creamy balsamic. Heaven! Thank you!
Used 1 tsp. Sugar and 1 large garlic clove instead. Delicious!
I have been looking for a good viniagrette recipe to lighten up my salads and this one certainly fits the bill. Very simple to make with common ingredients. I didn’t have an immersion blender so I substituted a frother from my espresso machine to quickly produce a smooth emulsion that did not separate. Next time I am going to try white balsamic vinegar and experiment with different herbs.
This was super easy to make and tasted amazing. I used non fat Greek yogurt instead of mayo and it came out great.
I could just drink this dressing, it’s just so delicious. I followed the directions but next time, I’ll triple it at least. One thing, I have really good balsamic vinegar and it didn’t need any salt, pepper or anything else. I did have to use regular mustard.
This salad dressing is delicious! Added a touch more mayo and e.v.o.o. for smoothness. Loved it!
Substituted white balsamic vinegar. Sooo good.
I only had honey Dijon but it worked. I might add crumbled Feta and green onion to it next time. The dressing did not look like the picture until set in the fridge.
Very good!
I also eliminated the water. you don’t need it. I used about 1/2 teaspoon of dried basil and 1/4 teaspoon of oregano . delish!
SO YUMMY! Great over spinach salad with blue cheese and dried cranberries.
Loved it so much I made a double portion the 2nd time!!!
Oh ya!!!!
Watery and too much sugar. Next attempt, skipped the mayo and up’ed the dijon mustard to 3 tablespoons, pureed 3 garlic cloves with 1 tbl rice vinegar. absolutely perfect!
