Best blue cheese dressing ever. Tangy, zippy and lots of “blue” flavour. Super good on fresh garden tomatoes or steak and tomato salad!
Amazing! Someone in my family doesn’t like mayonnaise so I put more sour cream and less mayonnaise. Taste’s amazing both ways!
Pulled the ingredients together and mixed by eye, substituted roqueford. Outstanding!
One word…Awful! Tasted like mayonnaise and salt.
This recipe is near perfection. Only, it was made PERFECT with the substitution of 4 oz. of Aldi’s Stilton Cheese that had been fermenting at room temperature for a couple days.
Great, tasty but a little too thick. I added 1/2 buttermilk for a smooth pour.
SO GOOD AND DECADENT! I followed the instructions to the letter and the dressing came out fantastic.! Definitely not for the calorie conscious but in my experience “Light” blue cheese dressing sacrifices flavor and consistency for low calories. After preparing the dressing I put it in the fridge for 24 hours and it was thick and lumpy the way I like it. I prepared a salad with lettuce, asparagus, kidney beans, grape tomatoes and croutons and the dressing was the final luscious ingredient that put the salad over the top. Thank U Bill!
I make this a lot but I use 4oz of blue cheese and blend that into the other ingredients until smooth, then I stir in ANOTHER 4oz of blue cheese crumbles for texture and bold flavor. Everyone raves about this dressing – with the extra blue cheese it is a home run!
Awesome, just what I was looking for in a blue cheese dressing for Cobb salads….perfect balance…thx
Delicious. I follow this recipe to a T but I do add freshly squeezed lemon juice. It’s a winner every time. A go-to blue cheese recipe for years!
Good basic recipe added 3 tablespoons of quality olive oil in 2 tablespoons of red wine vinegar and improved immensely
My husband and I are huge blue cheese dressing fans. I added 1/2 teaspoon granulated onion and some milk to thin it down just a bit. I will be making this recipe instead of buying from the store going forward.
We make this once or twice a month and it’s my go to! If I want it to be more of a dressing , I add milk but we love blue cheese, garlic and what’s this here sauce!!! We make wings and salad and Leah’s
Love this. Defiantly not the store bought salad dressing. Make it every time with wings. No complaints. And for the bit of extra punch I add celery seed to the mix. As with all recipes I keep everything on hand to add a bit more of something to give it bite. Depending on the wings I make.
Awesome Blue Cheese! I took everyone’s advice that said it was too much mayo so I used 1 cup mayo to 1 cup sour cream and kept everything else the same, it came out awesome. Also letting sit for 24 hours is an important step, don’t skip it if you can help it.
Love this recipe. I added 1 tsp horseradish.
It came out wonderful.
I could simply grab a spoon and eat it all by itself!
I made this using light Mayo and light sour cream. I do not care for Mayo in general but in the end I don’t really taste it. For people who don’t care for the worchestershire I want to go a little Ina Garten here and say use a good quality one and it will make a huge difference. I can’t wait to have this with my Buffalo Wings!
Nice recipe. Quick, easy and tastes great.
I made this many times. Anyone who says they made it and found the Mayo overwhelming? Well I made it with even amounts of mayonnaise and sour cream. A little extra blue cheese and a little cayenne. Magnificent! Gotta love the blue cheese to love this dressing/dip.
