Ingredients

  1. 2 cups red hot sauce (use your favorite)
  2. 1 stick margarine or butter, softened
  3. 2 1/2 tablespoons cayenne pepper
  4. 2 1/2 tablespoons crushed red chile flakes
  5. 2 1/2 tablespoons prepared horseradish
  6. 2 tablespoons minced fresh jalapeno
  7. 1 tablespoon minced fresh habanero
  8. 1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  9. 1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  10. 1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon onion powder
  11. 1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper
  12. Hot chicken wings, for serving

Instructions

  1. Combine the hot sauce, margarine or butter, cayenne pepper, chile flakes, horseradish, jalapenoes, habaneros, cumin, garlic, onion and black pepper in a food processor and mix on medium speed until all the ingredients are well mixed. Reserve the hot sauce to toss with chicken wings.
  2. Cook’s Note: Be sure to wear gloves when cutting the jalapeno and habanero and do not touch your face after handling the seeds or cut up peppers to avoid irritation!

This sauce is amazing will make it again for sure I did add 1 tablespoon of Mrs Dash hot paper blend doesn’t add more salt we like spicy!

Yes, this sauce is the best wing sauce in all the land. It’s definitely hot, but not *too* hot. I go to wing dome and get a pound and a half of wings and by the end my mouth is tingling for sure. Besides the perfect amount of heat, the sauce just tastes good too.The black pepper really comes through.

I made the recipe exactly as it is, but added 2 Hot Cow Horn peppers. It has an excellent flavor and the heat is not overpowering. For a heat comparison, it is a little milder than the Habanero Tabasco level in my opinion. I will keep some of this in the fridge as a condiment because it is so good (I bet it would be good on eggs too.
