Ingredients
- 12 ounces Brussels sprouts, trimmed
- 3/4 cup good mayonnaise, such as Hellmann’s, plus extra for spreading
- 2 tablespoons whole-grain mustard
- 1 tablespoon good Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 6 individual or 2 large ciabatta breads, halved and toasted
- 3/4 pound sliced turkey breast
Instructions
- Set up a food processor with the slicing disk and process the Brussels sprouts through the feed tube. (You don’t need to remove the cores of the sprouts.) Transfer to a large bowl.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, whole-grain mustard, Dijon mustard, vinegar, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1/2 teaspoon pepper. Add the mayonnaise mixture to the sprouts and toss well.
- Place the ciabatta halves, cut sides up, on a cutting board. Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise over each half. Place a layer of turkey on the bottom halves, pile some of the slaw on top, and place a second layer of turkey on top of the slaw. Sprinkle generously with salt and pepper. Cover with the top halves of the breads, cut sides down. Serve the individual ciabattas cut in half or cut the large ciabattas in thirds and serve.

This may be my favorite sandwich ever! Love love love it. My husband just eats the slaw on its own!
Love this recipe! I’ve used the dressing on thinly sliced cabbage and red onion and it’s so good on a turkey sandwich with a fresh roll. Lightly toasted the insides of the bread in a pan with some olive oil. Yum!
This sandwich is absolutely delicious, or as my husband said, “This sandwich is amazing.” It’s so different from anything I’ve ever made before, and we loved it. For just the two of us I cut the recipe in half, using all the ingredients listed, and I was able to make enough for two day’s worth. The food processor made slicing the brussels sprouts a cinch.
Soooo good!!!!
Bomb.com sandwich!!! Best picnic lunch!!!
A lot
Absolutely delicious!!! So much I am making it again very soon!!
Never made it again. I thought it was dry.
This recipe, I should of known to add a whole lot mote Brussels. I had to try it though the way the recipe stated, I gave three stars because it was so much mayo. 12 oz is about 1 1/2 cups of the Brussels. If I do make this again, I would have to suggest to cut way back on the mayonnaise. And plus the more liquid of the vinegar and the two mustards. It was way to much, liquidity. I still love Ina’s recipes. She is one of the very best at FN.
Absolutely amazing. I can’t describe the tongue dancing of the slaw and turkey together.
This is a wonderful way to use leftover turkey. Easy and quick! Husband and I loved this recipe!
