Yum! Great sandwich, so filling!
I was hesitant to try sardines, but wanted to add them to my diet because of the health benefits. They get a bad rap! I added 2 hard boiled eggs and a tablespoon of sweet relish. I made a salad with Trader Joe’s Green Goddess dressing, and added Wasa light rye toast on the side. Tasted almost like tuna salad. Delicious!
Added more mustard and parsley. Made it into a salad with the lettuce. Great!
My family loves this recipe! We make sandwiches or use the mix as a cracker dip.
This recipe tempers the very strong flavor of sardines and makes a great salad for sandwiches or a salad topper. Glad I found it!
Not a fan of sardines. Trying to eat them for health reasons. Now I would be happy eating them all the time! This was to die for! I did add capers. This was not fishy at all. Thank you for a wonderful recipe
Really liked this. Nice change from same old tuna salads. I like crunchy salads so added one small chopped carrot.
Best sardine combo I have ever tried and I have tried more than a few. This is the benchmark against which others should be measured.
This is one extremely tasty sandwich. The combo of dill and lemon with the red onion and celery was classically delicious. I did use skin on, bone in sardines, but I did de-bone them. I also used sourdough bread because i LOVE it.
