A terrific approach to convince youngsters to eat spinach is with this strawberry spinach salad! I had to have the recipe for this salad that someone brought to a potluck meal. Since then, I have cooked it numerous times, and every time I bring it anywhere, people ask me for the recipe.

I made this for Bookclub and everyone loved it and asked for the recipe. I used a full 16 oz. container of spinach and the dressing covered it completely. Loved it.

Was too sweet. Next time I will reduce the amount of sugar, but otherwise it was delicious!

The salad I’ve had it before and like it, but the dressing it’s just perfect. I follow the recipe to the dot, except that I omitted the onions. The dressing was loved by everyone, including my hard to please hubby. Recommend it! After reading some comments, i need to add that for salads, you need to use fresh ingredients. Using frozen fruit or veggies will add an extra moist that will ruin the meal. I washed and clean the strawberries, let them dried on a paper towel and I put them in the salad just minutes before serving it.

I loved this recipe. I committed the cardinal sin of changing some of the recipe, but that tells me that the recipe is very forgiving. I cut back the sugar and oil in the dressing, added canned mandarin oranges, thinly sliced red onion, blue cheese, and honey roasted nuts. Thanks to everyone who contributed to making this a great recipe.

The dressing was perfect light and tasty I will use this on alot of my recipies for the salad, I used spinich, strawberries, red onions, walnuts. Very delisious! I am going to make this tomorrow but use spinich,Boild eggs, Bacon and the poppyseed dressing. I might use my FoodiGrill and ad chicken to the recipie 5*****

I made this for a potluck…it was said it was the best dish at the event. I cut the sugar in half and used balsamic vinegar. Delish!

Loved this salad. Very refreshing. I used balsamic vinegar instead of white vinegar and halved the amount of sugar.

I really liked this one – I’ve previously tried the combination of strawberry and arugula, and I must say, this one is even better. Will definitely be making it again

I have made this salad for many potlucks and everyone raves about it and some ask for the recipe.

Excellent and quick salad. We have started making it regularly. As others have noted, sugar should be cut down unless this is your substitute for a brownie. Same with olive oil. 1/3 cup is perhaps sufficient. Using this as a base recipe, we have tried different toppings (cucumbers peeled and diced, roasted pumpkin seeds and other nuts, red onions etc). They all come out good. You can mix the produce and nuts and add dressing when ready to eat and it can be reused over a couple of days. Packs well for lunch if made in the morning.

It was too sweet. I would cut back on the sugar next time, and the dressing went a LONG way! It was so delicious though. I could not stop eating it.

This salad is AWESOME! I’ve made it several times, and even once in a pinch made it with a strawberry balsamic dressing I found in the produce section of the grocery. It worked well since I was in a hurry. Toasting the almonds really brings out the flavor!

Made this tonight for a little get together and it was a great hit! The only change I made was using balsamic vinegar, as suggested in previous reviews. It was delicious! In the future, I would probably cut the sugar in half as others commented for my own taste preference. But it was soooo good! A keeper for sure!

I loved it and will definitely make it again!

I’m new to strawberry salads, and made this exactly as written, except I only used 1/4 c. sugar and 1/4 c. (avocado) oil in the dressing. It was delicious. I sprinkled a bit of hemp seeds on top, and we chowed in. Great recipe.

This is just perfect for lunch when 105F out.

We loved this salad, served with deep-fried halibut and French Fries. I pulsed all of the dressing ingredients in my blender, ahead of time, and the dressing didn’t separate. It was an easy salad to make at the last minute.

Wonderful salad. I substituted fresh blueberries and canned mandarin orange for the fresh strawberries. Yummy. Perfect dressing.

Excellent summer salad. Loved it made as is, but next time I’ll cut the sugar back a bit.
