Ingredients
- ¼ cup freshly squeezed lime juice
- ¼ cup honey
- 1 tablespoon finely grated lime zest
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 2 mangos, peeled and diced, or to taste
- 1 large papaya, peeled and diced
Instructions
- Whisk lime juice, honey, lime zest, balsamic vinegar, and brown sugar together in a small bowl.
- Place mangos and papaya in a large bowl. Stir lime dressing again and pour over fruit. Lightly stir fruit and dressing, cover, and refrigerate for 1 hour.
Reviews
This is very similar to how we usually eat papaya (with lime juice and honey). The addition of balsamic vinegar scared me a bit, so I cut that back to just a sprinkle (probably more like 1 tsp). It wasn’t that noticeable, so maybe it would have been fine with the entire amount, but I was afraid it would ruin it for us. I did add some toasted coconut on top, and garnished it with fresh mint. Very pretty and refreshing. I’d gladly serve this to dinner guests.
