Green Salad with Garden Cress

Kachumbar is a salad in the Indian cuisine that is placed on top of curry. Even the heaviest gravies are lightened by fresh herbs and lemon, which create a tart bite.

Ingredients

  1. ½ cup vinaigrette dressing, or to taste
  2. 1 teaspoon prepared horseradish, or to taste
  3. 1 head green lettuce, torn into bite-sized pieces
  4. 1 small onion, finely sliced
  5. ¼ cup garden cress, or more to taste

Instructions

  1. Stir together vinaigrette and horseradish in a salad bowl. Add lettuce leaves, onion, and garden cress. Mix to combine.
