Burrata Caprese Salad

I adore my grandma’s recipe for marinated cucumbers; it’s from her. It’s wonderful to eat it in the warmer months or at any family gathering.

Ingredients

  1. 2 medium ripe tomatoes, sliced
  2. 2 (4 ounce) balls burrata cheese. sliced
  3. 10 leaves fresh basil
  4. 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil, or more to taste
  5. salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  6. ½ teaspoon balsamic vinegar

Instructions

  1. Arrange tomato and burrata slices on a platter. Place basil leaves in between and drizzle olive oil over top. Season with salt and pepper and drizzle with balsamic vinegar.
