At every family event, this broccoli salad with bacon and cheese is requested. Let them look forward to your next dish! I prefer to prepare this dish at least two hours before serving. Everyone will ask for the recipe, so make sure you have copies on hand!

I put in half the pepper because of a suggestion in the reviews and it was still a little too peppery. I put in half the sugar and maybe that was what I was missing. I was looking for a different flavor and didn’t find it in this dressing.

I love this salad! The red wine vinegar dressing is so tangy and delicious! I have made this salad again and again! It is my new favorite broccoli salad!

This is awesome with dried cranberries and raisins as well.

Everyone loved it, even those are not a huge fan of broccoli. Awesome side dish and party dish.

Made this just as described with the addition of dried blueberries and pumpkin seeds. Soooooo yummy

Raw broccoli doesn’t digest well for my son, so I SLIGHTLY steamed this. I added only a touch of pepper, salt only in the water steaming the broccoli no bacon[veggie daughter] or red wine vinegar and used fresh squeezed lemon juice, with zest. Next time I’ll mix Mayo and yogurt. In any event, this was a hit at the dinner table…

Add a handful or two of roasted sunflower seeds!

I’ve been making this for years for holidays and parties. It’s a good recipe that you can prep/make ahead. I just add the bacon and cheese the day of. We also like it with half broccoli and half cauliflower.

So delicious! Left recipe as is; only I blanched the broccoli after chopping it.

I made this for a party months ago and everybody still talks about this salad. It is delicious!

I took it to a pig roast and came home with an empty dish! I did not change anything. Delicious…

Made a double batch for a potluck recently; only changes I made were using turkey bacon instead of pork, and I used sherry vinegar since I didn’t have any red wine vinegar. Everyone loved it – there were NO leftovers!

My family and I love this salad!!! I add seedless raisins and sunflower seeds for some extra flavor and texture. 10/10 ✅

Easy recipe that is perfect for the winter months. I accidentally added sliced green onions, and dried cranberries, still turned out Deelish!!

I’m requested to bring this to every gathering, after I have brought it once. It is so good! I try to always make it a day ahead cause it’s so much better after day 1!!

I made it just as is. Was very good to me. Good flavor, easy to make, not expensive.

I make this often for holiday meals. It is a good veggie side dish that doesn’t need to be cooked. My son loves it. If I have them, I add dried cranberries as they are a nice pop of bright flavour.

This was so easy to make and absolutely gorgeous. I did add some chopped cranberries, and that bit of sweet really sealed the deal for me. This salad is a winner

I used organic plain Greek yogurt and cut the bacon in half, and it was still delicious.
