Ingredients
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons buttermilk
- 1 tablespoon minced fresh dill
- 2 teaspoons minced fresh oregano
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- Dash hot sauce
- 2 heads butter lettuce, cored and leaves separated
- 2 cups chopped hearts of palm
- 1 cup quartered artichoke hearts
- 1/4 cup jarred sliced roasted peppers, drained and chopped
- 1/4 cup yellow cherry tomatoes, halved
- 6 slices prosciutto
- 1/4 cup shaved Parmesan
Instructions
- For the dressing: Combine the mayonnaise, sour cream, buttermilk, dill, oregano, paprika, pepper and hot sauce in a bowl and mix to combine.
- For the assembly: Arrange the lettuce on a platter. Drizzle about half of the dressing over the lettuce. Sprinkle the hearts of palm, artichoke hearts, roasted peppers, cherry tomatoes, prosciutto and shaved Parmesan evenly over the greens. Serve the remaining dressing on the side.

Good starter, but I needed do add more acid and spice to the dressing to give it a balanced flavor. I also added giardiniara for variety and zest.
Made the salad to go with chicken Parmesan for company. This was so good and a very nice change from typical salads. My husband loved all of the little “special treats” that were in the salad. Will definitely make again!
We made the Paige’s Italian salad andit was the best salad ever! We used bottled Ranch dressing but the ingredients inthe salad really shinned thru. So good. We loved it!
