Due to the inclusion of both cocoa powder and chocolate chips, these muffins pack a double dose of chocolate.

Everyone loved these!
Fudgy is a perfect way to describe these. I make these quite a lot! My siblings absolutely love them and beg for them every other week. I make the recipe exactly and they are perfect for any chocolate lover!
Yum yum yum!!!!! My whole family LOVED these! Made a few changes though, forgot to use baking soda…oops but they turned out completely fine. I also added 1/3 cup of milk as other reviews
These were nicely moist when I added a couple tablespoons of oil and upped the marg to 1/3 cup. Next time, as a personal preference, I would halve the chocolate chips.
I chose to make mini muffins. I reduced the time by half and added from there. It ended up taking 14 minutes. These are AMAZING! I got 38 mini miffins from this recipe.
I followed the recipe and used gluten free all purpose flour. These turned out delicious! I believe I ended up taking them out around 19-20 minutes. Kids loved them too (most important!).
Made as-is, only replacing margarine with canola oil. Very moist, not very chocolately. My 3.5 year old and I enjoyed them very much. Will make again, but may sub some of the flour for more cocoa – or add more chocolate chips.
These muffins have a great chocolate flavor but mine fell in the middle. Only change I made was using oil in place of the applesauce. Great as they tasted I won’t be making them again. Will continue looking for a great chocolate muffin recipe.
The batter was a bit too dense so I added some milk until it was smooth. Other than that, it was amazing! I added a TBSP of chia seeds too to add some crunch (:
very good and I added oatmeal with milk to make it breakfasty.
amazing! the cinnamon enhances the chocolate flavor nicely.
My family loved this recipe!
These were so fudgy and delicious!!! I will be making them instead of my normal chocolate cupcakes next time 🙂
I made these and loved them! Very moist and chocolatey. They didn’t rise very much but I would still make them again. I also only baked for about 16 minutes per the recommendations.
These were very moist and light. I think next time I will reduce the sugar or up the cocoa, seeing the the sugar is needed to sweeten the cocoa. My boys will love them though. I only baked them for 21 mins. 🙂
I stopped at 21 minutes and they came out fudgey and perfect.
These are great especially with white chocolate chips…kids favourite!
Super easy to make and delicious! I substituted my gluten free flour and took the muffins out at the lower cooking time when the top bounced back to my touch. Taste like a chocolate cake. Yum!
I have made these 2xs now, the first time I added extra butter and milk at the suggestion of other reviews. They tasted great but didnt rise and fell apart. The second time I followed the directions and they came out beutiful!! They are a bit dense but taste great!! My kids love them!! The only change I made was substituting baking stevia for the white sugar!!
These were not very chocolatey or fudgey and they came out dry. I will not be making these again.
I found this recipe to be both very fudgy and moist by adding the following: small chocolate pudding mix and 3/4 cup milk. With these additions, I decided to add an extra 1/2 t of vanilla and an extra 1/2 t of baking soda. They came out perfect!
